When using Monk gloves, the + that they are counts toward ab and dmg. So if one is using
+10 monk gloves..
or
+10 kama.
Its still all the same. +10 to hit and + 10 dmg.
This is where I get lost at....
and at the bus stop, the store, at home.... er nm

Also, there are many different ways to get haste as a monk. The helm, various robes work wonders also. Though I usually stick to boots until I get to lvl 20 and the monk mind immunity kicks in. (Not to mention the glowing peepers)
